OEPS ARMACORR has also developed rust remover and rust converter and highly effective for savaging rusted components. Surface preparation is the essential first-stage treatment of any component before any corrosion protective product is applied. Cleaning the surface significantly improves the performance of protective film. For effective surface preparation, it is recommended to clean the metal surface, removing oil, grease,dust, dirt, etc., by OEPS ARMACORR range of water & solvent-based (near neutral / alkaline) cleaners with inbuilt flashcorrosion protection properties.

Rust Remover


OEPS has a very effective solution in the form of the rust-remover formula wherein the superficial layer of rust can be easily removed. Prevention is better than cure w.r.t. corrosion protection but when the surface is already rusted, then based on the application requirement, rust can be removed by using OEPS ARMACORR range of eco-friendly rust remover. Alternatively, OEPS ARMACORR rust converter converts the rusted surface into a rust-preventive layer with a protective coating of 5 microns approx. This can be applied on any rusted surface.

Rust Converter


OEPS Rust Converter is basically a water based ecofriendly product that converts the rust(Oxide Layer) almost back to the original surface and further more rust protective layer by forming a chelate.

Solvent-based Cleaner


It is a heavy-duty cleaner & degreaser that removes dust, dirt, and mild rust from surfaces to avoid flash corrosion. It gives a higher coverage, as it is a very thin low-viscous product; thus makes it an economical solution.

Water Based Cleaner

Water, which is known to promote corrosion in metals such as iron and steel, can in fact be an excellent solvent base for some of the environmentally safe chemicals to control corrosion for short periods. The OEPS ARMACORR range of water-based cleaners uses water as a base to actually prevent corrosion. The OEPS ARMACORR range of water-based cleaners are highly useful to effectively protect metal surfaces or components that are waiting ‘online’ or ‘in-plant’ for the next process. In fact, OEPS ARMACORR water-based coolant additive can be added to the coolant (dosage at the rate of 1 to 2% by volume) to enhance the corrosion protection of the metal cutting fluid to avoid this in-process corrosion issues.

Solvent Based Cleaner Additive

It is generally meant for industries where diesel and petrol are primarily used for cleaning purposes. These fuels however contain traces of moisture and sulfur which accelerates corrosion or acts as a catalyst for corrosion. Hence, OEPS ARMACORR solvent-based additives (dosage: @ 1% by volume) when added into the solvent based cleaner that overcomes the flash corrosion issues and in fact gives a short term protection for up to 90 days in sheltered condition.
